About VTF

  • What does VTF stand for?

    VTF = Les Vacances Très Familles (Very Family Holidays).

  • I want to stay with VTF, what is the price of the annual membership?

    Stays in VTF holiday villages are open to everyone.

    Due to its nonprofit status, you only need to pay an annual membership valid from November 1 of the year to October 31 of the following year. This membership allows you to make several stays during the year. Rates 2025/2026: • 44€/family • 22€/individual

  • Our different payment methods

    Payment by credit cards

    VTF Vacances accepts the following credit cards on the website, by phone, and in agencies:

    • Carte Bleue, Visa, Mastercard, and Bancontact.

    Of course, your data is 100% secure: the server is encrypted and the transmitted information is coded. In short, nothing is transferred in clear text on the site.

    Payment by e-vacation vouchers Simply select Chèques-Vacances Connect as the payment method.

    Payment by ANCV vacation vouchers In agencies or by registered mail specifying the booking number at the following address:

    Made payable to VTF (booking number on the back of the check) and sent to the address above.

    Payment in installments

    VTF Vacances offers the possibility to pay your balance in 2 or 3 installments after paying a 30% deposit of the total stay amount, provided the balance is fully paid at least one month before your arrival at the holiday destination.

Managing my reservation

  • Can I arrive early and delay my departure time?

    In our holiday villages offering catering services, you can:

    • Book your lunch* for the day of your arrival and access your accommodation from 2 p.m.

    • Book your lunch* for the day of your departure and stay in your accommodation until 12 p.m.
      To be booked with your stay and for the whole family!

    *Additional charge applies.

  • I want to modify my stay, how do I do that?

    Any modification requested by the member is possible more than 60 days before departure (excluding Surprise Pack). It must be confirmed in writing. A fee of €44 per file is charged for any change (location, participants, date). Less than 60 days before departure, cancellation conditions apply.

  • I want to extend my stay, how do I do that?

    Have you not yet started your stay? If there is availability, it is perfectly possible to extend your stay by calling our sales advisors.

    Are you currently on holiday at the village? If rooms are available, you can also extend your stay for one or more days. Simply ask our reception team.

  • How do I cancel my reservation with VTF?

    For any cancellation, you must send a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt to Aix-en-Provence along with proof if you have subscribed to cancellation insurance. For more details on the cancellation conditions of your VTF stay, please refer to the general terms and conditions of sale.

Preparing for my stay

Hours

  • What are the arrival and departure times?

    For weekday stays, from the first day at 5:00 PM (first service is dinner with full board or half board) until the departure day at 10:00 AM (last service is breakfast with full board or half board).

    For weekends and short stays (2 to 4 days): from the first day starting at 5:00 PM (first service is dinner with full board or half board) until the last day at 2:00 PM (last service is lunch with full board, breakfast for half board) or 10:00 AM during school holidays.

  • What if I arrive earlier or later?

    If I arrive earlier? If you arrive before 5:00 PM, your accommodation may not be available.

    If I arrive later? If you plan to arrive after 8:00 PM, please inform the village as soon as possible. A cold meal can be offered with full board or half board.

  • What time do I have to vacate my accommodation?

    The departure time is set at 10:00 AM.

    In our holiday villages offering meals, you can book lunch on the day of departure and keep your accommodation until 12:00 PM (instead of 10:00 AM). Please inform the holiday village.

  • I want to leave before the end date of my stay

    In case of early departure due to an unforeseen event, simply notify the reception of your holiday village.

Accommodation and Dining

Accommodation

  • What types of accommodation are offered?

    Double rooms, family rooms, cottages, apartments, chalets depending on the destination.

  • Individual room specifics

    The individual room is subject to a special rate.

  • Do children share their parents’ room?

    Yes, children can share the same room as their parents: connecting rooms or family rooms.

  • Can I choose my accommodation (sea view, connecting rooms, building, etc.)?

    Accommodation assignment is done by the person in charge based on family composition and availability. We can note your preferences on your reservation but cannot guarantee them.

  • Are the holiday villages adapted for people with reduced mobility (PRM)?

    Most of our holiday villages have facilities and accommodations adapted for people with reduced mobility. Details of access are available on each village’s webpage. However, for better assistance, we recommend consulting our sales advisors who will guide you to the most suitable holiday village.

  • What is the classification of the holiday villages?

    Our holiday villages are classified by ATOUT France.

    Atout France is the state agency responsible for strengthening France’s position as a tourist destination internationally and supporting the development of the French tourism offer.

    Classification criteria set requirements on comfort level and service quality, checked every 5 years by an accredited control organization recognized by Cofrac. This audit is mandatory regardless of classification category and is based on current classification criteria.

    Most of our holiday villages are rated 3 stars.

Dining

  • With full board or half board, how are meals served and what are the times?

    • Breakfast is served in the restaurant from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM during school holidays and 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM outside school holidays, as a buffet.
    • Lunch is served in the restaurant from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM*. You can also reserve a picnic basket (buffet or à la carte) for your free days.
    • Dinner is served in the restaurant from 7:30 PM* to 8:30 PM.

    Meals are mainly served as buffets: starter, main course, pasta buffet during school holidays, dessert.
    Wine is included with your meals, but a wider selection is available on the wine list (to be paid on site).

    *Meal times may vary depending on your dates of stay.

  • What does half board include?

    Half board includes dinner and breakfast. Please note that most accommodations are not equipped with kitchenettes and lunch must be taken outside.

  • I want to go out during the day, how do I arrange a packed meal/picnic?

    Packed meals or picnic baskets, which must be reserved the day before at the holiday village reception, are available if you wish to go out for the day.

Services

  • Bar: hours and operation

    • Opening hours* from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM (until 9:00 PM in Joyeuse).
    • At the bar, you will find a selection of hot and cold drinks, a cocktail menu, and regional aperitifs.
    • We offer syrup, soda, and coffee cards at low prices.

    *Hours may be subject to change.

  • Fitness area: how does it work?

    The fitness area is accessible from age 16 with registration at reception during opening hours. Note: only swimsuits are allowed.

  • Is a television available in the accommodations?

    Most of our accommodations do not have televisions, which is a deliberate choice to promote human values, sharing, and discovery; to encourage guests to connect with others and their surroundings. However, there is often a communal TV lounge, and TV rental is available at some sites for an extra fee during the stay.

  • Are pets allowed in the holiday village?

    For safety and hygiene reasons, pets are not accepted except guide dogs. However, you may stay with your pet during certain periods and in certain villages. A cleaning fee is charged for disinfection after departure. Vaccination records are mandatory. Only one pet per family is allowed; pitbull-type and Rottweiler dogs are not accepted due to safety concerns.

  • Are towels and bedding provided?

    Bedding is provided for all stays (bed sheets, blankets or duvets, pillows, bed covers) as well as towels for full board and half board. However, please bring your own bath towels and bathrobes for the pool and fitness area.

  • Is cleaning included in the stay price?

    • For full board, final cleaning and bed-making are included in the price; however, maintenance during the stay is your responsibility.
    • For rentals, maintenance of your accommodation during your stay is your responsibility. Apartments must be left clean on departure. We offer an optional “end-of-stay cleaning” service, bookable at reception (excluding dishwashing).
  • Is access to facilities (pool, fitness area, etc.) free in the holiday village?

    Stays are "all-inclusive" and include access to the various facilities (unless otherwise stated). No additional payment is required.

Children

Rates

  • Child rate: my child will turn 6 during the stay, which age is considered?

    The child rate applies based on the child's age, and the age taken into account is the age on the arrival date at your destination.

  • What is the sliding scale for children?

    With full board and half board, the rate decreases according to the children's age as follows:

    • 10% off for ages 11 to under 16
    • 20% off for ages 6 to under 11
    • 40% off for ages 4 to under 6
    • 70% off for ages 1 to under 4 in villages with baby clubs, 90% off in villages without baby clubs, and 80% off in Sainte Maxime

Children’s clubs

  • Children’s clubs: how do I register?

    Access to children's clubs is open to all, regardless of the type of stay chosen. Children are welcomed free of charge from 3 months to 17 years old, depending on the holiday village and the opening periods of the children's clubs specified for each destination. Registration is done on-site with no limited places, and you can enjoy the children’s clubs at your own pace.

Services for children

  • Baby/children’s meals: what is provided?

    A space in the restaurant is open half an hour before other guests arrive, equipped with adapted dishes, high chairs in the dining room, baby jars, and homemade purées dedicated to toddlers from 3 months to 2 years old.

  • Baby kit/equipment rental on site: how does it work?

    Rental options on site include:

    • Stroller ("umbrella" type): €5/week
    • Baby bike carrier: €5/week
    • Baby kit+: nightlight, baby carrier, bottle warmer, mini mobile fridge: €22/week (reservation required)

    Contact the holiday village directly by phone or email.

Reviews and complaints

  • I want to leave a review, how do I do that?

    A satisfaction questionnaire will be sent to you after your stay; that will be the time to tell us everything.

  • I want to make a complaint, how do I do that?

    VTF does not consider any complaints during the stay.
    Our after-stay service remains available to listen to you. You can send a letter or email to the headquarters in Aix-en-Provence.
